This horn has been hand scraped until it's natural dark green color is opaque. It is 14 inches long and 2 inches across the butt. The applied tip is made of horn pinned to antler. The three turned rings are amber colored and have been tortoise shelled, heat applied and pinned into place. The onion shaped concave plug is of pecan wood and is hollow to increase the horn's capacity. The entire project is all pinned together with locust thorns.
