Oscar awards 2012 Fashion Trends
Trend - Red: Style savvy stars tend to avoid red because it's hard to pull off a colour that clashes with the carpet you're on. But this year, these fearless females went all out. Michelle Williams wore Louis Vuitton, Emma Stone chose Giambattista Valli, Natalie Portman wore vintage Dior, Livia Giuggioli (Mrs Colin Firth) wore bespoke Valentino, Janet McTeer also wore red, with a plunging neckline.

Bollywood hotties flaunts 'dual' colours
Two-tone dresses jazz up our Bollywood beauties' wardrobe and how! Take a look at some of their most glamorous versions.
Last year saw colour-blocked outfits become quite a rage with Bollywood actresses. There were a lot of fuschias and fiery oranges being coordinated with electric blues and peacock greens.
While the more adventurous ones, like Chitrangada Singh, went all the way in this trend of clashing colours, others went for the tamer version yet equally stylish two-tone dresses.

Pride: New Pulp Cards and New Pulp: The Blog
I am very excited to share with you my latest creative adventure: NEW PULP. This is my new business, started from the ground up in early March 2011, registered with the Ontario government and well on its way to being launched! The whole concept is about consciousness, of your surroundings and the impact you have on them. Based on this I've developed two parts of the business: one side is made of Greeting Cards made from recycled materials (books, posters, flyers, etc.), with crazy graphic designs on them. The business will run like the fashion industry, designing the cards in collections of 15, each with their own theme, and released in seasons (Spring, Summer, etc.). Also, each card is left blank intentionally - I'm not going to write a few phrases for you to sign your name under and pass off to your dearly beloved.
I believe in saying what you mean and not letting others speak for you, which leads to the other half of the project, New Pulp: The Blog. I really wanted an outlet for myself and other creative people to share their projects, musings and discoveries. So far we have approx. 15 authors and a few posts up already! The big launch for the card business and website is set for July 28th (also happens to be my birthday)- the party is at 7pm (location TBA). Should be a great night!

Envy: Annie Hall
I recently watched Annie Hall for the first time, and instantly fell in love with Diane Keaton's wardrobe... very streamline, carefully accessorized and put-together. I know I'm not the first to recognize the HOT FASHIONS of Annie Hall, but god damn, it's hot. Screen captured by yours truly (except the last image), so they're a bit blurry. Two words that come to mind: NECK SCARVES. Yes!
