Adele will make her highly anticipated return to the stage on February 12 at the Grammys, where she’s also nominated to win awards in six different categories. She has been recovering from vocal cord surgery she had in November and now she’s finally ready to perform again. Adele has other things going on in her private life though – she was thrown into the spotlight again for her weight. Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld recently called the singer “a little too fat.” Still, she remains “true to herself” and doesn’t the let the criticism of her body get her down. She embraces her curves and ignores anyone who doesn’t like the way she looks. Adele says, “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines.” She’s very proud to “represent the majority of women.”
Adele has a great body image and doesn’t think she needs to be extremely skinny like most celebrities strive to be. Here are a few other stars that share the same idea – they believe they don’t need to be stick thin to be beautiful.
